Walk-in shower with bench

Built from the board up, with three niches and a mosaic floor.

Before any tile went up, this shower was built as a waterproof box: KERDI-BOARD on the walls and the bench, a curb, and a shower tray around the drain. That is the part nobody sees, and the part that keeps the walls dry.

Stone-look tile then runs up the walls and across the bench top, with three recessed niches set into the courses and a slim trim along every exposed edge. A small mosaic covers the shower floor, which gives grip underfoot.
