The bigger the tile, the less forgiving it is. A floor that looks fine under small tile can show every dip under a large panel, so levelling comes first. After that it is layout: where the joints fall, how the pattern meets the doorways and how it ends at the wall.
We also take on the details that make a floor stand out, like a curved edge where porcelain meets carpet. For rooms where tile is not the right fit, we install luxury vinyl plank, laminate and engineered hardwood as well.

Sometimes. It depends on what is there and how flat it is. We check it when we come by to measure.

Yes. Electric heating mats go under the tile, ready for your electrician to connect.
